Hello.  I am delighted to welcome you to the new

online home of Mary Quirke Millinery.

Since I was a child I have had a passion for Dressmaking, Sewing and
Crafting, a skill I inherited from my mother while she taught me how
to make dolls clothes. Exploring Millinery was the next natural step.

 

My love of Millinery has been a very rewarding and interesting journey so far.
Having the opportunity to train in the U.K. was a highlight but by far my favourite part of being a milliner is getting to share the special stories that surround each event with my clients. It has been a joy to share my passion with people while getting to be a small part of their special day also.

I pride myself on responsibly sourcing my materials from reliable bases and specialise in an element of re-using fabric/upcycling. I use natural fabrics where possible such as silk, wool, cotton and linen. I am inspired by the beautiful Irish countryside. Additionally I am constantly working on more sustainable choices for my products, our planet and our community. I pride myself on providing a top class service whether that means a bespoke headpiece to match your outfit for a special event or simply customising one of our Ready-To-Hire hats for you.

My wish is for people to feel uplifted when they wear one of my headpieces. I believe wearing a hat should be a joyful experience and that hats should not just be reserved for special occasions!
